As you know, COVID-19 is a rapidly developing issue in our community, and we are aware that emotional support is especially important during such a stressful time. As a mental healthcare facility, we plan to remain open and available in-office for scheduled therapy sessions and for new client intake sessions until the situation demands otherwise. Our goal is to provide as many options as possible for mental health support during this challenging and often frightening time. With that said, you may prefer not to be physically in the office, which is both understandable and manageable. Therapists at Nurture Family Counseling® are trained and available for telehealth therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant videoconference or phone services.
In addition to expanding telehealth services, our practice is taking every precaution to keep our offices as clean and healthy as possible. This includes nightly sanitizing and increased availability of cleansers/sanitizers. Also, we shall be washing our hands and sanitizing surfaces between every appointment as well as practicing appropriate distancing.
Please let us know what we can do to assist, and as always, we are grateful for the opportunity to help our community.
